FAQ’s

What is the cost per day?

Fees for 2018 have been set at $30 per day. As we are a non-profit preschool, all monies go back to the preschool for resources to benefit your child.  Please contact us for more information.

Can I get any fee assistance?

If you are the holder of an Australian Government Health Care Card or Pension Card, fee assistance is available.

Does the preschool provide food for the children ?

Children bring their own morning tea and lunch.

What do I need to send for my child for lunch and morning tea?

  • Morning Tea – piece of fruit, cheese &/or plain biscuits/yoghurt etc.
  • Lunch – a sandwich, pasta or rice dish and a small healthy snack for after. No nuts or eggs at preschool.
  • Water Bottle – which will be refilled with filtered water throughout the day as required

What days are available?

We have a Three Day Program (Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays) and a Two Day Program (Thursdays and Fridays).

How many children are in each class?

In our Three Day Program the children are divided into 2 classes – Green Group which has 20 children and Yellow Group which also has 20 children. In our Two Day Program the children are again divided into 2 classes – Blue Group which has 20 children and Red Group which has 20 children.

How old does my child have to be to start preschool?

We are licensed to enrol children from 3 years of age through to 6 years of age.

What time do you start and finish?

For our 3 Day Program (Mondays/Tuesdays/Wednesdays) we start at 9.00am and finish at 3.30pm. This is an extra half hour more than other preschools and gives parents time to pick siblings up from primary school.  For our 2 Day Program (Thursdays/Fridays) we start at 8.15am and finish at 3.45pm.

What happens during NSW School holidays?

We are closed and you will not be charged for NSW primary school holidays nor Pupil Free Days. You will, however, be charged for Public Holidays.

What is the Educator/Child Ratio?

In every classroom we have an Early Childhood Educator and a Child Care Worker.  If we have children with additional needs, support staff will be made available.
